Bangladesh tour: Indian women's team to play all matches in Dhaka

MUMBAI: The Indian women's team will play all its six matches-three T20Is followed by as many ODIs - on it's upcoming tour of Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

As per the list of fixtures of the tour the BCCI has put up its website, the T20Is will be played on July 9, 11 & 13. The ODIs will be played on July 16, 19 & 22.

This will be the first time that the Indian women's cricket team will be in action since its heart-breaking exit in the semifinals of the ICC Women's World Cup in Cape Town on February 23 at the hands of Australia.

The Indian women's team last month underwent a high-performance camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. With the BCCI's process to find a new head coach for the Indian women's team still on, former India allrounder Hrishikesh Kanitkar, who is the side's batting coach, is likely to be in charge of the side for the Bangladesh tour.
