A huge fire tore through a pub in Thailand's capital, Bangkok, early on Monday, killing 27 people and injuring 63 others after thick smoke and blocked emergency exits trapped patrons inside, officials said.
The blaze broke out around midnight at the Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao pub in a busy area of northern Bangkok, close to shopping malls, cinemas, parks and the popular Chatuchak weekend market.
