Bandai Namco Entertainment gave us another peek at its upcoming title SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada courtesy of a new trailer. This one shows the customization options available to players as they prepare to go on missions.
This upcoming extraction shooter is set in a dystopian futuristic world where humans and AI, also known as Magus, need to cooperate to survive. In particular, players take on the role of "Drifters," individuals who make a living collecting the rare resource called as "AO Crystals." Accompanying the Drifters are what's known as "CRADLECOFFIN," which is an armed vehicle that allows players to be mobile as they go on an expedition across the dangerous terrestrial environment.
You can watch the trailer below:
The Magus
If you don't have the time to watch the trailer, not to worry since we'll break it down for you. The first customization is choosing the Magus type. There are four base Magus, and each one has different personalities. Once you've chosen the Magus that you want, you can now customize their look, which is really exciting. These include the body, hairstyle, and features of the face. It goes without saying that you can also customize their wardrobe. After all, just because they're AI doesn't mean that don't have to look good.
The Cradle
The trailer also shows that you can customize the CRADLECOFFIN. That's right! You can mix and match the Body, Arm, and Leg. This allows you to optimize the stats of the Cradle and make the most out of them. After that you can then choose up to two weapons that the Cradle wields. It's up to you to find the combination that matches your playstyle.
What do you think? Excited for the game to come out?
SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada is set in 2222. It's been years after most of humanity was wiped out with the mysterious poisonous rain known as "The Tears of the New Moon." This same rain has also resulted in the birth of deformed creatures which are hunting whatever is left of the population. To survive, humanity now has to collect a rare resource known as AO crystals.
SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada is set to come out sometime this year and to be available for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.
