The stunning Bamburgh beach has officially been voted the best beach in England.
With more than 7,000 miles of coastline, the UK is a perfect location for any beach lover - and the North East can officially claim it has the best. Campervan parts specialists, Just Kampers, have discovered the best beaches in England by analysing 50,000 TripAdvisor reviews from 50 of the most loved shorelines.
Each location was given a score, with five being the best, and Just Kampers whittled it down to the ten top beaches in the UK. And with a score of 4.86, Bamburgh beach in Northumberland came out on top beating the likes of Cornwall and Norfolk.

Bamburgh Beach scored a near-perfect five-star score, thanks to the imposing Bamburgh Castle overlooking the seafront as it sits proudly on the skyline. It's also dog-friendly, making Bamburgh beach a truly perfect trip for the whole family.
