The message started with “Hey girlie.” Lorelia almost did not open it. She said she had a feeling something was wrong and did not want to face it. She opened it anyway, and what she found changed everything.
The woman on the other end of that message told Lorelia that her fiancé was actually her husband. Lorelia, who had a September wedding planned, a dress already altered, and months of planning behind her, was blindsided.
