Ballymena United have announced Wrightbus as the club's new main sponsor. The company has agreed a two-year deal with the Sky Blues.
Wrightbus is a leader in zero-emission technology, including the creation of the world’s first hydrogen double deck bus and the world’s most efficient battery-electric double-deck bus. The firm said the deal includes a “commitment to work with the club on a range of community and charitable projects”.
Members of Wrightbus’ senior leadership team including managing director Neil Collins and chief executive Buta Atwal travelled to the Showgrounds in the battery-operated Abellio London EV Electroliner double-deck bus - the first off the production line. The bus was filled with the Wrightbus-branded jerseys to present to the team.
