Ballymena incident sees homes damaged by man with a hammer in alleged racially motivated hate crime

A number of homes in Ballymena have been smashed by a man with a hammer in what police are treating as a racially-motivated hate crime.

It happened in the Larne Street area of the Co Antrim town in the early hours of Monday, 26th June.

At 2.15am, the PSNI says it received a report that windows at a number of residential properties in the area had been smashed by a man with a hammer.
