A small local Ballyfermot store has been revealed as the selling location of the ticket that scooped the top prize of the Daily Millions on Sunday.
The winning quick pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw at Londis, Ballyfermot Road in Drumfin, Dublin 10. It is the second big win for the lucky store in just two months after they sold a Christmas Countdown scratch card worth €100,000 on November 23 last year.
At the announcement, assistant manager Sonny Butt said: “We’re a local store embedded in the community. This is our second big win for the shop. We sold a scratch card worth €100,000 just before Christmas so our customers are very excited. We feel very famous in here at the moment with all the media attention!”

Sandra Carrick has been a Sales Assistant at the store since it opened in 2007 and said the win has "given everyone a boost". She said: "I’ve been here in this store since day one. I’d know all the customers personally and really hope it’s one of our regulars who’ve won and that the money is going back into our community here.
"The win has really given us a boost and lifted staff morale. We wish the winner the very best of luck and hope they spend it wisely!"
The National Lottery has confirmed that the Dublin winner has made contact with the claims department and arrangements are being made for them to collect their prize. Thursday’s €1 million Daily Million winner is the first such winner of the game in 2023 and is also the 2nd National Lottery Millionaire of 2023.
