Bali is easing its Covid travel rules for tourists and beginning to scrap quarantine rules for vaccinated travellers arriving for holidays.
Indonesia has announced that foreign visitors from 23 countries - including the UK - will no longer be required to quarantine provided they are fully vaccinated against Covid, complete with a booster jab.
Vaccinated Brits heading to Bali will be able to apply for a visa on arrival in Indonesia, and skip quarantine. However, they will still need to meet other requirements such as having proof of a paid hotel booking and insurance which covers Covid.
Travellers will also need to take a PCR test on arrival and self-isolate until a negative result is confirmed, after which they are free to move around. There is also a second test to be taken on day three.

With some of the best months to visit Bali falling between May and August when it's dry season, it's great timing for Brits planning to explore some of Bali's most amazing places, visit those awe-inspiring temples or simply discover the picture-perfect beaches for themselves.
The holiday hotspot is currently trialling the quarantine-free rules, and if successful could look to roll it out wider in April.
Authorities confirmed the news in a press conference to local media, explaining that Bali would be the first destination in the scheme.
Other countries have used similar tentative approaches to welcoming back tourists. For example Thailand offers 'sandbox' schemes where vaccinated tourists can travel freely around specific regions, while Vietnam is looking to reopen to vaccinated tourists three months earlier than planned.
Brits' holiday options have been increasing in recent weeks, with 12 other countries easing their travel rules. For example countries such as France, Greece and Portugal have scrapped a requirement for pre-travel Covid tests, while Canada no longer requires PCR tests from vaccinated Brits if they prefer an antigen test, and Sri Lanka has scrapped pre-travel Covid tests completely.
As for returning to the UK?
The UK's travel rules already eased back in February.
Under the changes, fully vaccinated arrivals no longer need Covid tests before or after arriving in the UK. For unvaccinated arrivals there are still pre-departure and post-arrival tests, although the requirement to self-isolate for 10 days has ended.
There are hopes that passenger locator forms could also come to an end in time for Easter.
