A "balaclava gang" smashed up a pregnant woman's car during a rampage in the middle of the night.
Six cars across Leominster Road and Greenheys Road area of Liscard were targeted in an early morning spate of vandalism on Wednesday, July 13, with people in the area putting it down to the "Balaclava Gang" that continues to wreak havoc on the once quiet residential streets of Liscard. The balaclava-clad yobs have spent a number of months patrolling the streets and intimidating residents on a regular basis.
One neighbour has told the ECHO that he and his wife are now considering moving away from the area after living in their home on Greenheys Road for 12 years. The 44-year-old husband, who has asked to remain anonymous, told the ECHO that his wife's car has been targeted three times in the last year, with her windscreen being smashed twice and her tyres being slashed.

The legal advisor said: "People are going to start leaving How long can you put up with it. We see it all the time and we see the usual group on bikes in balaclavas. We know they're just scouting the area but if they were alone they wouldn't do anything, it's a group mentality.
"We've thought about leaving recently. We've only looked up the price of the house to see how much we would have but we don't want to leave. We love the are but this particular gang seem to be doing a lot of damage."
He added: "If it carries on we will have to move because of the baby. It's always in the early morning. Where are the parents? I wasn't allowed out at the time when I was that age. The parents aren't doing their jobs."
Merseyside Police confirmed that officers received reports that between 2am and 3am on July 13, the windows of six cars were damaged on Leominster Road and Greenheys Road. It was also reported that a group of six males were seen with their faces covered in the area.
