Bail for doctor on choking charges

A Queensland doctor accused of serious assault and choking has been granted bail with a temporary overnight curfew and no surety required.

The doctor, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with three counts of choking, suffocation or strangulation in a domestic relationship, one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of assault.
