Bahadur Singh Sagoo elected new president of Athletics Federation of India

Athletics Federation of India Adille Sumariwalla AFI Gold Asian Games

The Athletics Federation of India's (AFI) leadership exchanged hands on Tuesday, with the former Asian Games shot-put gold medallist Bahadur Singh Sagoo replacing Adille Sumariwalla as president.

The decision was finalised at AFI's annual general meeting in Chandigarh on Tuesday after the position became uncontested following senior vice-president Anju Bobby George's withdrawal from the presidential race.
