The One Show welcomed three film stars onto its green sofa on Friday, February 17, two from new film Creed III - Jonathan Majors and Tessa Thompson - and British film and television icon Richard. E Grant.
The Withnail and I and Game of Thrones star appeared on the show to discuss his upcoming role as host of the 2023 Baftas alongside Alison Hammond and recalled when they were put together for the first time as hosts - and the awkward moment which had the This Morning star "shamed".
The One Show host Emma Willis asked Richard if he and Alison had met prior to being linked for the Baftas and the 65-year-old told Emma and co-presenter Jermaine Jenas that indeed they had on ITV's This Morning but Alison had completely forgotten.

He told viewers: "I said: 'Alison, we've met before'. She came up to me and said 'We've never met before', and I said: 'Yes we have'. "And I gave her the date and she was, you know... she was shamed." The two presenters were in fits of giggles at this tale and Jermaine said: "Oh that's a low point."
Earlier in the interview, Richard told Emma and Jermaine how he was feeling about co-hosting the Baftas for the first time on Sunday, February 20, saying how you have to strike a balance and entertain, not offend, people - and likened preparing for the role to choosing between a bag of peanuts.
He said: "Hosting [it] is a bit like a peanut selection. In that do you go dry roasted, roasted, honeyed, caramelised, salty or just plain Ricky Gervais Armageddon? You have to hope that you're going to do it and entertain but not offend people."
Being posed the question of whether he gets nervous at all, he coyly answered in jest: "No, not at all. Do you get nervous?" He added: "It does help if you know people, and I know many of the nominees this year because I'm so old and have been around the block so much. That helps."
Being reminded of just a handful of his famous predecessors, Richard pleaded with Jermine: "Don't tell me all these names," before explaining how he called upon an old friend for some advice on how to handle hosting a show of this scale - Steve Martin, with whom Richard had shot L.A Story.
