A who's who of British TV gathered in London on Sunday night for the 2022 BAFTA Television Awards, with smash hit drama It's A Sin leading the way with 11 nominations.
It's been three years since a full audience was allowed at the annual event, due to restrictions enforced in response to the coronavirus pandemic. But after a room full of A-listers gathered with the film equivalent earlier this year, the TV BAFTAs returned to its hey-day on Sunday night. Actors, presenters, directors and producers flocked to the Royal Festival Hall in London as envelopes were opened across a whole host of categories.
The BAFTA TV Award nominees were announced back in March and It's A Sin, the massively poignant and hugely successful Channel 4 drama landed on the most shortlists, with tough competition for many of the awards from other hit dramas like Stephen, Help and Time.
