The nominations for the BAFTA TV Awards 2023 have been confirmed. The 69th annual TV awards will be held in May, and the full list of shows, actors and writers who have earned a nod has been announced.
Medical comedy-drama This is Going to Hurt and police drama The Responder lead the pack with six nominations each. The BBC has stormed ahead overall with 81 nominations across all categories, including for its coverage of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
Netflix has bagged nominations for some of the biggest shows from the past year, including Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story and Wednesday. Several huge names have also earned their first-ever BAFTA TV Award nods in the acting categories, including Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, Cillian Murphy for Peaky Blinders, and Daniel Radcliffe for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
