BAFTA nominations 2026: 'One Battle After Another' and 'Sinners' lead the charge

BAFTAs Paul Thomas Anderson Ryan Coogler Chase Infiniti Robert Aramayo Archie Madekwe Benicio del Toro Chloé Zhao Jesse Plemons Josh Safdie

The 2026 BAFTA nominations have been unveiled, and One Battle After Another and Sinners dominate, as I Swear, Pillion and The Ballad of Wallis Island lead the charge for the best British films.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s politically charged serio-comedy One Battle After Another got a total of 14 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director and several acting nods – including Leading Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actor (Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn) and Leading Actress (Chase Infiniti, who was bafflingly snubbed at the Oscar nominations last week).
