Baffling celeb conspiracy theories after Eminem clone claim - from Tupac to Taylor Swift

Fans of Eminem have been throwing around some wild conspiracy theories about the rapper over the last few days - with some claiming that the original Marshall Mathers is dead and has been replaced by a clone.

As reported over the weekend, some people believe Eminem died in 2006 due to his voice now sounding 'different', his lyrics changing tone and his jawline changing dramatically over the years.

A Spanish website, La Guía Del Varón addressed the 'My Name Is' rapper conspiracy in an article and threw fuel on the fire when they proclaimed the rapper to be an 'android clone' and reported the theory as fact.

But this isn't the first time a celebrity has been the subject of a conspiracy about death and cloning, in fact, there have been numerous similarly bizarre theories...

Avril Lavigne

The Canadian pop star has been at the centre of strange rumours for years as people think Lavigne died in 2003.

The singer was reaching new heights with her career after Complicated became a massive hit.

But fans on Twitter went down a rabbit hole, suggesting that as she was only 18 when she became famous, she struggled with being in the spotlight.

They claimed that in order to deal with this, Lavigne hired an actress to pretend to be her and pose for paparazzi photos, a woman named Melissa Vandella.

Some thought Avril had taught Melissa to sing like her and she would walk the red carpet for her too.

The bizarre theory goes that everything got too much for the singer in 2003 after her grandad passed away and she took her own life.

Conspiracists now believe she has been replaced by Melissa.

However, the truth is that Avril has actually often stayed out of the spotlight as she has been battling Lyme disease since 2015, as well as going through a divorce from her Nickelback frontman husband, Chad Kroeger.

Taylor Swift

Some have claimed Taylor is a 'clone' of Zeena LaVey (Getty Images)

Another baffling theory that often does the rounds is that Taylor Swift is a clone of Zeena LaVey, the daughter of the man who founded the Church of Satan in 1966.

The conspiracy appears to be based on the fact that the two women look similar in certain photos.

Both are blondes and both fans of a strong bold lip colour - but the similarities pretty much end there.

This very limited 'evidence' hasn't stopped people from speculating that Taylor is a 'clone' of Zeena and the Illuminati replaced the singer with her because she's a member of the secret cult.

Tupac Shakur

Rapper Tupac Shakur was just 25 years old when he was shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas.

He died in hospital six days later, but many of his fans are convinced he's still alive and that he may have faked his own death.

They claim to have seen Tupac living in Malaysia, while some believe he's in prison.

But perhaps the most unusual theory sees people claim Tupac actually hinted that he's still alive in his 2002 posthumous release track Better Dayz.

"Expect me like you expect Jesus to come back," the lyrics read.

Before he died he started calling himself Makaveli, a reference to the Italian philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli.

Machiavelli proposed that deceiving your enemies could be done by making everyone think you're dead.

From this, some suggested Makaveli was actually an anagram meaning "Mak Alive".

Keanu Reeves

While many conspiracy theories are about celebrities dying and being replaced when it comes to Keanu Reeves the theory people have about him is quite the opposite.

Instead of being dead, fans think the 57-year-old actor is immortal and has been walking the eath for years and years.

Yes, really.

In fact, there is even a whole website devoted to the theory that Keanu, has lived for centuries in various different guises.

Reeves has previously been asked about the conspiracy while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017.

He commented: "We're all stardust, baby!"

He went on to discuss the likeness he shares with the 19th-century medical doctor and actor Paul Mounet, saying: "I can see we have a likeness in the eyes, and the nose... and the moustache, and the beard, and the cheekbones, and the forehead."

Other weird and wonderful conspiracy theories have suggested that Katy Perry is actually JonBenet Ramsey, a six-year-old who was tragically found dead in her family's home in 1996 - while the case remains unsolved as to accidentally how she died.

While some think Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by lookalike William Campbell.

A few believe Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood are really the same person and that famous faces like Princess Diana and Elvis didn't actually die and are still alive.
