Fans were left in tears on Sunday night following a heartfelt performance from the Backstreet Boys as they took the stage at the 02 in London. It was the band's first performance since the news that singer and rapper Aaron Carter had been found dead in his California home on Saturday (November 5).
Aaron's brother Nick Carter, who is a member of the Backstreet Boys was comforted by his bandmates as he paid tribute to his late brother. The group dedicated their rendition of the song Breathe to Aaron, who was found dead in his bath.
Following the emotional tribute, the group's management have confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that tomorrow night's performance at the AO Arena will go ahead. On Sunday night, Kevin Richardson, who sings in the band, acknowledged the sad news , telling fans at London's 02 that the band had 'heavy hearts because we lost one of our family members yesterday'.

According to MyLondon, the singer thanked the crowd for their support, while Nick Carter, 42, also on stage, looked visibly moved . Clips of the emotional performance were shared online, with many fans moved by the tribute.
One fan said: "This is heartbreaking, I'm crying." Another added: "Crying", while another added: "Omg just sitting here bawling. God bless you Nick and Aaron may you find peace."
Since news of Carter's death broke on Saturday, tributes poured in from across the music industry. Nick Carter also shared his own, discussing his brother's issues with addiction and mental illness.
In a social media post, Nick described their relationship as 'complicated'. He wrote: "I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. My heart if broken.
"My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never faded.
"I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here.
"I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you baby brother."
Aaron Carter was a former child star who sold millions of albums, having gained fame as an opening act for his brother Nick's group, The Backstreet Boys, in the late 90s. His body was found at his home in California on Saturday, and while no cause of death has yet been disclosed, US media reported that his body was found in the bath.
