The remains of an infant have been located by police in the search for the missing baby belonging to Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, who remain in police custody.
The child was thought to be just days old when they disappeared in January. On Wednesday, March 1 the remains of a baby have been found in a wooded area, Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford of the Metropolitan Police said, via the Mirror.
On Monday night both former aristocrat Marten, 35, and her partner, Gordon, 48, were arrested on suspicion of child neglect in Brighton. On Tuesday the pair were also arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
