A baby died after falling into a swimming pool while on holiday in Majorca. The 17-month-old toddler's parents found her after she'd fell into a hotel pool at the popular holiday destination.
Local media reported that the tragedy happened on Tuesday at around 7pm in Port d'Alcudia. A lifeguard performed first aid on the British child, with police and paramedics being scrambled to the scene, the Mirror reports.

It has been reported that the tot was revived after an hour of CPR, before being intubated and transferred in a critical condition to a local hospital. She was transferred to the intensive care unit but the little girl passed away and her death was confirmed at 5pm yesterday.
More than 20 people have drowned in the Balearic Islands this summer. The emergency services called to 47 separate incidents.
Local media reported that 30 per cent of these cases have been children under the age of seven.
