Little George Kirwan, who's now six months old, was born at 28 weeks on January 31, weighing just 1lbs 7oz after his parents had tried for more than three years for a baby. The tot was so tiny it took doctors over half an hour to identify his gender.
The pregnancy had been fraught with worry after mum, Chloe, 33, suffered a bleed at just 18 weeks and then caught Covid. At a 28-week scan, doctors picked up that George had stopped growing and told Chloe that he would need to be delivered early.
