A baby was abandoned on the side of a road by a thief who stole a car while the 10-month-old was still in the back seat.
The shocking incident happened on St Attracta Road in Cabra shortly after 7pm on Sunday, August 21. It is alleged that the man made off with the car after it was left with the engine running outside a home.
There was another young child, 9, in the back who is believed to have jumped out of the car, the Irish Independent reports. The baby was then found abandoned on the side of the road a short time later.
