It's fair to say that the last few years have been difficult. But Covid and the cost of living crisis could be the least of our worries in 2023 - if the predictions of Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga are to be believed.
Baba, a blind woman who died in 1996, has sometimes been called the Nostradamus of the Balkans. She foretold major world events in a series of mystical predictions that stretching ahead to 5079.
She is reported to have foretold everything from the attack on the World Trade Centre to Brexit, as well as the sinking of the Kursk. For 2022, she correctly predicted that that Australia and areas of Asia would be hit with "intense bouts of floods" - and that that large cities around the world would be hit by significant droughts.
