Home improvement retailer B&Q has announced its plans to open more of its new convenience stores in the UK. A 'takeaway range' of DIY essentials will be offered at the smaller stores.
The company trialed its first B&Q Local convenience stores on high streets in 2020. It plans to expand its presence by rolling out these new smaller stores, as Retail Gazette reports.
The new stores will be the first to feature the B&Q Local brand, which the company recently applied to trademark. The next two stores will open in London's Palmers Green and Camden districts in the opening quarter of 2023.
