Variety retailer B&M is keeping tight-lipped amid reports a new store could be opening at the Castle Marina retail park.
It has been suggested there could be a new B&M at the Ultimate Outdoors store which is now offering a 30% off closing down sale to customers until it shuts.
A B&M member of staff, who wished to remain anonymous, shared a poster suggesting there are staff vacancies for a new store in Castle Marina retail park.
The vacancies include customer services manager, shop floor assistant and customer service supervisor.
The staff member told Nottinghamshire Live this is for the former Ultimate Outdoors store.
A spokesperson for B&M told Nottinghamshire Live the company is always looking for new locations, but added they can't confirm whether there are plans to open at the former Ultimate Outdoors site.
Residents living near Castle Marina Retail Park revealed what life has been like for them during lockdown when interviewed by Nottinghamshire Live in February 2021.
A lot of the shops in the retail park, located on the brink of the city centre, remained open - such as Sainsbury's, Lidl and McDonald's Drive-Thru.
Others, such as PureGym and Ultimate Outdoors remained closed until restrictions were eased by the Government.
