Train services between Ayr and Barassie are currently at a standstill this morning following a signal fault.
ScotRail say they are unable to operate any services between the two stations until the current problem is rectified.
As a result, services between Glasgow Central and Ayr are also expected to be delayed, due to the knock-on effect.
A message from ScotRail said on social media: “We have received reports of a signal fault at Barassie. Our services are unable to operate between Barassie and Ayr until staff have rectified the fault.”
