Irvine AFC shrugged off last week’s shootout shambles as they romped to a 6-1 Scottish Amateur Cup replay win against King Park Utd.
The sides hit the headlines after their second round on October 1 was wrongly sent to penalties after a 3-3 draw.
Irvine won the shootout 5-4 only for the result to be declared void a few hours later.
But there was no mistake in the outcome of Saturday's replay in Glasgow as three goals in each half saw Irvine comfortably through.
On the scoresheet were Darren Sherman (2), Billy McGinn (2), Connor Macaulay and Ben Kellington. Man of the match was Craig Gillies.
