Ayr United are to be roared on by a new generation of supporter as part of a community initiative.
The club is to hand out 200 free tickets to local schools for each of its home games at Somerset Park.
Schools across South, East and North Ayrshire will all be included in the drive to get fresh faces through the turnstiles.
Today's clash with Dunfermline kicks off the programme with Ayr's Newton Primary receiving the first batch of tickets which are available to pupils, teachers and parents.
United commercial boss, Martin Tocker, said: "The next generation of Ayr United fans is vital to the future prosperity of the club.
"As a youngster, I myself received a free ticket to an Ayr game and the rest, as they say, is history.
"By spreading the word of the club to various schools across the region, we hope many more kids will be bitten by the bug of Ayr United."
First team stars Andy Murdoch, Kerr McInroy and Ben Dempsey visited Newton this week to dish out the first batch of free tickets along with United Academy coach Bobby Hay.
Newton headteacher, Fiona McAvoy, added: "We're delighted to be involved in this initiative and the children can't wait to come along and cheer on Ayr in what is another big game against Dunfermline."
