Axel Blake has just been crowned the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2022.
He was up against Maxwell Thorpe, Jamie Leahey, Ben Nickless, Flintz & T4ylor, Tom Ball, Eva Abley, Loren Allred, 5 Star Boys , Aneeshwar Kunchala and Amber and The Dancing Collies.
While judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams returned to the judging panel to deliver their feedback to each act.
Fan favourite acts Tom Ball placed third in the competition, and joked he would be back in school on Monday following the result as 13-year-old Jamie Leahey took second place.
BGT fans were annoyed that Amber and The Dancing Collies returned for the finale, despite not making in through their semi-final round this week after being voted as the wildcard act by the judging panel.
Explaining the judges' decision on the wildcard, Simon said: "It wasn't, it was the easiest decision. It was better in their audition than the semi-final, and if we see them go back to what it was like in the audition, then they could win this whole thing."
Sister Act: The Musical were also in the house to provide the entertainment.
Alesha Dixon was left in tears as finalists Flintz and T4ylor forgot the words in their final performance on the live programme, and missed out on a place in the top three.
The judge was seen crying on the panel as her heart went out to rapper Flintz, whose nerves clearly got the better of him.
As well as winning the competition, Simon Cowell's golden buzzer act has also bagged £250,000 in prize money and a coveted spot at the Royal Variety Performance.
Set to take place on December 1, this year’s performance is viewed by more than 152 million TV viewers worldwide, making it the most successful and longest-running entertainment show in the world.
