Professional drag performer A’Whora is asked if she will stay in the boys or girls’ room in an awkward moment on the celebrity version of Ex on the Beach.
A host of celebs have been gathered together for the latest season of the hit MTV series which sees holiday time gate-crashed by ex-lovers who want to win contestants back – or seek revenge.
The latest series – which begins airing tonight – includes Towie's James ‘Lockie’ Lock, Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry, Married At First Sight Australia's KC Osborne, Too Hot To Handle star Kori Sampson and Norwegian influencer Sofie Karlstad.
While a host of former Love Island stars are also taking part with 2018 contestants Megan Barton Hanson and Kaz Crossley joining 2020 contestant Mike Boateng.
Former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant A'Whora – real name George Boyle, 25, and who describes their pronouns on Instagram as "he/she/they" – is the final star to join the line-up and arrives after all the other star contestants have already arrived.
The drag performer leaves some of the ladies feeling “under dressed” upon arrival and is then abruptly asked by Mike where in the villa they will sleep while the group are enjoying a welcome drink with the BBC Three star.
The 26-year-old Love Island star asks: “Who are you sleeping with, by the way? The boys or the girls?”
A’Whora then slightly awkwardly says: “I don’t know. I mean I feel like it’s going to be weird, like, having big silicone tits and heels in the boys room, right?”
After hinting that they would prefer to stay in the girls’ room, the ladies don’t exactly leap to welcome the drag performer into their sanctum.
Sofie, 24, meekly offers: “We can show you around, if you want to?”
A’Whora then replies: “Why not? Blow me away.”
Elsewhere in the opening episode, Mike is seen being unknowingly rejected by 28-year-old fellow Love Island star Kaz after they enjoy a mountain-top date.
Sneak peek footage shows Michale confessing to 25-year-old Kori that he thinks he has a strong chance of wooing Kaz.
The former police officer says: “We was just vibing. It was proper, like, not forced. Like, Kaz is the easy going person. I’m going to get to know her and see how it goes.
“But the vibe that I’m getting right now is, like, positive.”
Meanwhile, Kaz has been pulled aside by 27-year-old Megan where she reveals she’s not actually attracted to Mike at all – after Megan had already correctly predicted that her good friend from the ITV2 reality show had not been 'on the same page' after quickly clocking that Mike was into Kaz.
Kaz confides: “It was actually, genuinely, a good date. Conversation was flowing, like, he was asking so many questions about me.”
She then brutally adds: “But he’s just not my type. At all.”
Celebrity Ex on the Beach kicks off tonight at 10pm on MTV.
