Award-winning novelist Javier Marias dies

Javier Marías Spain

One of Spain's important contemporary writers, Javier Marias died on September 11, 2022 at the age of 70. The news of his death was shared by his publisher Alfaguara.

Spanish EFE news agency reported that the renowned novelist-translator died at a hospital in Madrid, Spain due to lung infection complications. He had earlier fought Covid-19.
