LOS ANGELES — Brendan Fraser, a favorite to win an award for his performance in “The Whale,” says he does not plan to attend the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.
“I have more history with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association than I have respect for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association,” Fraser told GQ in a cover story after he was asked if would attend the show if invited. “No, I will not participate.”
He said he won’t attend “because of the history that I have with them.”
