Avril Lavigne and fiancé Mod Sun have reportedly broken off their engagement less than a year after he got down on one knee.
The Sk8er Boi singer, 38, and Mod got engaged in March last year during a romantic proposal in Paris with the Eiffel Tower glistening in the background.
The couple have often shared loving photos on their respective Instagram accounts since the engagement but those have quietened down in recent months.
Avril and Mod's most recent video together on social media was of the pair confidently ice skating, which was posted on Christmas Day. Neither has reappeared on each other's page since.
However, sources have told TMZ how Avril, who rose to stardom as a 17-year-old with her hit single Complicated, and Mod have been "on and off" over the last few months and have ultimately called it quits on their relationship altogether.
The news of the split comes after Avril was photographed with Kylie Jenner's ex Tyga on Sunday night as they joined friends for dinner at Nobu.
The pair shared a hug in the parking lot of the restaurant before leaving in the same vehicle, but TMZ sources have stressed that they have a platonic relationship and have been friends for many years.
Neither Avril or Mod have publicly announced their split, with the latter's representative telling TMZ that the couple were in fact still an item.
They said: "They were together and engaged as of 3 days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed that's news to him."
The former couple first met in January 2021 before announcing they were dating in the following month. Shortly after meeting, the punk rockers collaborated on song Flames.
Avril and Mod seemed to be on good terms on the few public appearances they made together, including when the Grammy Award-nominated singer received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star in August 2022 which coincided with the 20th anniversary of her debut album Let Go.
They were last seen together earlier this month at a pre-Grammys event as they supported rapper turned punk rocker Machine Gun Kelly, who recently split with Transformer actress and fiancée Megan Fox.
Avril had been married twice before; firstly to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010 before marrying fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger - the lead singer of Nickelback from 2013 and 2015.
She was also in a relationship with Kylie and Kendall Jenner's half-brother Brody between the two marriages.
