Does Aventon offer free shipping?
Yes, Aventon offers free standard ground shipping on all orders over $100 for its entire electric bike lineup within the 48 contiguous United States (no PO boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses).
If you are just stocking up on smaller components or accessories and your order falls below the $100 threshold, you'll pay a $9 fee.
Do Aventon e-bikes come with a warranty?
Absolutely, Aventon offers a comprehensive 2-year warranty on all new e-bikes purchased. Plus, if you register your new bike on Aventon's website within 90 days of purchase, Aventon will automatically upgrade the 2-year frame warranty to a Lifetime Warranty for the original owner.
This covers the drivetrain, electrical components (motor, controller, and display), wheels, and any pre-installed accessories against manufacturing defects. The battery is covered for 2 years or 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
Are Aventon batteries covered by warranty?
Yes, the battery for your Aventon electric bike is covered by warranty. This is either over a 2-year period or for 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first. Please note that this only covers material or workmanship defects and not normal wear and tear.
Does Aventon accept returns?
If you change your mind about your purchase, Aventon accepts returns within 14 days of the original purchase date. To get a refund, the e-bike must be completely new, unused, and show exactly zero miles on the odometer. The cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
If you've taken the bike out for a test spin, you can still return it within that 14-day window as long as it has fewer than 20 miles on the odometer and is free of any damage. However, beware that returning a "used" bike will incur a massive 50% restocking fee, deducted from your refund and added to the shipping costs.
