A teen killer has been caged for the murder of schoolgirl Ava White, who was stabbed to death after an argument broke out over a Snapchat video.
The 14-year-old boy stuck a 7.5-inch flick blade into the 12-year-old's neck at a Christmas light switch on in November 2021. The murderer - who cannot be named for legal reasons - and Ava had attended the event in Liverpool city centre separately, reports the Mirror.
However, the festive evening ended in a murder probe - and Boy A, now aged 15, has been handed a life sentence. He will serve a minimum of 13 years behind bars as the judge told him he will have to "grow up in custody".
