Met Office delivers El Nino forecast for UK autumn

El Nino effects vary according to location and season, this map shows the extreme heat the world could see - (World Meteorological Organization (WMO))

The Met Office has said UK’s autumn is more likely to be wetter than average, with an increased risk of flooding thanks to El Nino.

The chances of a warm and wet season are around one-and-a-half to two times higher than would normally be expected, the Met Office said.
