Connor Zilisch did just about everything except win the title at the secondary level of NASCAR in 2025.
The teenager was a rookie in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, but that didn’t stop him dominating the field. He won 10 races, including a summer stretch where he won seven of eight races he entered. Zilisch’s year was marred by a back injury at Talladega and a broken collarbone in a shocking Victory Lane fall at Watkins Glen, but it didn’t slow him.
Zilisch, who also impressed with his GTD pace in the Daytona 24 Hours, ended the year with an emotional loss as the Xfinity runner-up in the one-race finale.
