A Swindon-based automotive business management services firm has opened new offices in the Wiltshire town.
APD said the new space would create a "high-tech environment" for staff and customers, while also providing a base for its new education and training academy.
Established in 2006, APD provides software solutions to the automotive industry, aiming to close the gap between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and dealerships by helping them interpret data and offering performance insights.
The company was acquired by Ed White in 2018 and underwent a restructure, taking on new staff including Mat Hutchin as commercial director; Clive Sury as project manager; and Rebecca Barker as programme manager.
Reflecting on the company's four-year journey, John Waring, chief executive at APD, said the firm was "reaching some significant milestones" in 2022.
"Our proactive approach to deploying new technologies and continued commitment to product development and customer experience has set us apart within the automotive industry," he said.
The opening of the new Swindon office comes as the firm launches its new education and training service - the APD Education and Training Academy - which will deliver a range of virtual and physical learning environments specific to dealerships and OEMs' operational staff.
“The education and training service is key to our future business expansion," added Mr Waring. "We’ve worked hard throughout this journey to ensure that we deliver on our end goal - to provide a 360-degree solution for our clients, mitigating risk and increasing profitability."
