Autistic man 'imprisoned in his home for years' agrees £125,000 settlement with London council

An autistic man is to receive £125,000 from a London council after claims he was “imprisoned” in his own home for over eight years.

The man in his 30s was assessed by Southwark Council as needing 24/7 care, requiring two carers at home and three carers in the community.
