Authorities in northern Gaza are advising residents to exercise caution and refrain from returning to their homes north of Jabalya following reports of the occupation forces withdrawing from the Jabalya camp on Thursday morning.
The North Governorate Emergency Committee issued a notice on Thursday morning, urging citizens to remain patient and avoid returning to the northern areas of the sector at this time due to the presence of dangerous remnants left behind by Israeli troops.
According to the notice, the enemy has abandoned a significant number of quadcopter drones that are targeting citizens as they withdraw from the area.
The IDF has declined to disclose the whereabouts of its forces. In a statement released on Thursday morning, the IDF stated that its troops are actively engaging with terrorist infrastructure and operatives in the vicinity of Jabaliya in northern Gaza.
Civil defense teams have reported facing challenges in accessing the area in recent weeks, despite receiving multiple distress calls from residents in need of assistance.
