A 29-year-old Australian tourist has died after plunging from the 180-metre Kelingking Beach cliff on Nusa Penida, one of Bali's busiest attractions, before rescuers could reach her. Brianna Cronin, from Queensland, fell on Saturday on the island east of Bali.
The popular tourist site is known for its steep coastal cliff and clifftop lookout overlooking the beach. Local police said Ms Cronin was seen stranded on the southern side of the Kelingking Beach cliff earlier that morning. Emergency personnel were called to the area, but police said she fell further before rescuers could reach her.
