It has been a turbulent build-up to this year's Australian Open with the controversy surrounding Novak Djokovic, eyes will now turn to the action with the tournament underway.
British hopes are boosted by the presence of Stockport-born Liam Broady, who opens his campaign against Nick Kyrgios on Tuesday- with wildcard Andy Murray also in the draw, facing Nikoloz Basilashvili.
Broady's qualification was an emotional one as he qualified for the main draw in Melbourne for the first time ever after beating Roman Safiullin in qualifying on Friday.
In the women's draw, Emma Raducanu will be hoping to recapture the form which won her the US Open title back in September, starting with a tough assignment against 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens.
