NEW DELHI: Australia's acting captain and wicketkeeper, Alyssa Healy, underwent surgery over the weekend, having sustained an injury to her right index finger while attempting to "separate her dogs as they were fighting."

Healy had to withdraw from the Sydney Sixers' squad shortly before their 42-run loss to the Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) on Sunday.
