What we learned - Tuesday 10 June
Well, that was an anti-climactic end to the blog. We might not have learned Tasmania’s electoral fate but let’s recap what we did find out today:
Miriam Margolyes called on the Australian government to impose sanctions against Israel.
The NSW deputy premier, Prue Car, revealed she has breast cancer.
Accounting group issued a warning of tax scams before EOFY.
Nine reporter Lauren Tomasi said she has a ‘bloody big old bruise’ after being hit with a rubber bullet. The LAPD said it was aware and ‘very concerned’ about media getting hit with crowd-control munitions. Albanese spoke with Tomasi and has raised the incident with the US administration.
Monash IVF Group said the wrong embryo was transferred to a patient last week.
A NSW woman was charged with ‘wine-fuelled’ behaviour on an international flight, police said.
The ABS confirmed the average Australian dwelling price is above $1m.
A Burst Fremantle sewer main has caused ‘temporary odour’ in some areas.
A second Australian reporter affected by police action at LA protests.
Enjoy the rest of your evening
