The Los Angeles Dodgers are having a whale of a season. As of this writing, they are 82-36, the best record in Major League Baseball, and they’re looking like a championship team.
On Wednesday, Aug. 24, which happens to be Mamba Day, the Dodgers will hold their annual Lakers night. One of the Purple and Gold’s newest gems is scheduled to throw out the first pitch that night at Dodger Stadium.
It will be Austin Reaves, one of the few bright spots in an otherwise terrible season for the Lakers and a man who could turn out to be a full-time starter this season.

That night, the Dodgers will take on the Milwaukee Brewers, a team they recently split a four-game series with in Wisconsin. The Brewers are in second place in the National League Central division.
