Aust shares rebound to finish week up 0.5 per cent

The Australian share market has bounced back from most of its losses to close slightly lower and in the green for the week.

After being down as much as 0.9 per cent on Friday morning, the S&P/ASX200 rose fairly steadily in the afternoon to finish down 14.1 points, or 0.2 per cent, at 7,073.2.
