Aussie world No.1007 John has dream day on the links

Australian journeyman Cameron John isn't among the world's top 1000 golfers - but it hasn't stopped the rising Melbourne player roaring to second on the leaderboard after a dream opening round at Scotland's prestigious Dunhill Links Championship.

At the event played on three famous seaside links, headed by St Andrews Old Course, world No.1007 John cashed in on perfect conditions at the easiest of the trio, Kingsbarns, to shoot a 10-under par 62.
