A month out from the Masters, Jason Day is feeling happy vibes again after reuniting with his trusty lifelong coach and surging into contention at the PGA Tour's prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida.
Australia's former world No.1 carded the low round of the tournament and his lowest-ever round at famed Bay Hill - a dazzling eight-under-par 64 - to rocket 40 spots up the leaderboard in to a tie for fifth at the halfway point of the signature $US20 million ($32 million) tournament.
Day charged from four over to four under for the championship, then revealed he starting working again this week with Col Swatton, the father figure and mentor who guided him to world No.1 and major championship glory back in 2015.
