Having battled back from a broken arm to join the exclusive club of Australian UFC champions, Jack Della Maddalena is already gunning to defend his title against Islam Makhachev in Perth.
Della Maddalena became just the third Australian to win a UFC crown when he upset Belal Muhammad in their welterweight bout in Canada on Saturday night (Sunday AEST).
The West Australian returned with a bang in his first fight since breaking his left forearm in a TKO win over Gilbert Burns in March last year, having required four surgeries and an extended stint on antibiotics.
