Auguste: New Italian restaurant inspired by Abruzzo to open in former Papi site

The latest Italian restaurant to open in London is Auguste, a neighbourhood venue inspired by the food and drink of Abruzzo in central Italy.

Auguste will launch on April 1 (no, it isn’t) and is to occupy the former Papi site in London Fields. It’s a particularly interesting restaurant launch because Abruzzo has not ever been overtly studied in London dining, at least not recently.
